QCel
Brand design and promotional video
QCel stands for Quality Catering Equipment Ltd. Established over 30 years ago, they specialise in the development and supply of catering equipment complete with full training, installation and consultative servicing plans.
The bespoke and off-the-shelf solutions QCel provide have cemented them as a leading provider of catering equipment, with such household names as KFC and Pizza Hut on their books. We are pleased to have developed a long-standing relationship with the client and have enjoyed watching the business grow and develop over the years.
Brief
Following the successful rebrand, QCel commissioned us to create a brand awareness video. The rebrand meant we had a great understanding of the business already so the team were confident they could provide QCel with a video that would communicate the core values of the company.
Solution
Using our beloved studio blackboard, Fiona began by storyboarding the video to shape the overall structure and plan out the key concepts. After many a brainstorming session, Fiona devised visual cues to guide the viewer through each slide using completely bespoke illustrations. Establishing the volume of information and the pace of how it was delivered was key to getting the tone of the piece right, whilst ensuring the video wasn’t too long people would tune out.
Result
This project presented a great challenge to Nexus, however the reward of a happy client and a successfully completed project was more than enough. The video was well received by the QCel team and is used widely both on their website and offline through videocards at exhibitions.
